FABULOUS NEWS! :: "NATIVE EYES PHOTOGRAPHY" ::

Simply Unique Weddings & Events is proud to announce that we can FINALLY offer Photography Services along with our Wedding Planning & Rental services we currently offer. We're so excited about this new chapter opening with this business called "Native Eyes Photography by Mary Poston". Some of you already knew about it since I started making hints about it last year, but for those of you who didn't...no worries! When you get a chance, check out the {website}. It's still a work in progress, so check back every now and then for updates! :-) And feel free to let me know what you think!

Some asked if I would be taking a BREAK from wedding & event planning and to answer that question....NO OF COURSE NOT! Weddings will always be my PASSION as well as my main focus. I will be booking photography sessions as well as Wedding Photography services on days when Simply Unique Weddings & Events doesn't have any bookings. So it works out "OH SO WELL" together  :-) I bought my first Nikkon Camera last fall, took some time to get to know my camera, did some shots the last several months and I am ready to roll! LOL! But on a serious note...Photography has always been another passion of mine, and I have wanted to do this for a very long time...so you cannot imagine how blessed and excited I am about this opportunity! :-D

So please feel free to spread the word about us! And while you're at it, if YOU or anyone you know of is interested in engagement, family, model, maternity, newborn, wedding, trash the dress, senior portraits, or any sorts of photos; contact me while the prices are LOW! Check the {website} for "SPECIALS". Thank you for your support and I look forward to working with you soon!

Veggie and Fruit Station

Are you going to have cocktail hour at your upcoming wedding or special event? If so, consider doing a veggie or fruit station. Not very many people often think of doing this as a way to save some costs. Make them yourself or check with your local caterer to see what they can offer. Here are some ideas for you:

Wall of Flowers

Happy Tuesday! For some reason when I walk into a room, one of the things I notice are "Walls"...LOL....I know, I know...a little weird but I'm always curious to see whats on it such as color, paintings, style, and decor. So....I did a little digging and found some interesting photos in relation to "Walls of Flowers" that can be used to inspire you at your next special event :-)

Monogram Lighting

"Monogram Lighting"......ever thought of using this at your wedding, party, or special event? I find that monogram lighting can be one of the most creative, unique, and FABULOUS way to pull together your wedding colors, details, decor, and design elements of your event put together! :-) Great lighting can even turn your drab room into a FAB one...TRUST ME ;-) There's so many things you can do with it such as create your own design, color timeline and etc. Lets check out some pictures I found!

Of course I was going to post this photo...I LOVE butterflies! But of course you guys already knew that ;-)

Stunning photo! Love how the photographer captured the essence of the lighting on the ceiling!

Another GORGEOUS photo! Which leads me to my next point. One of the best things about using lighting or monogram lighting is that it can serve as a perfect backdrop for all of your hard & beautiful work! Cake, flowers, decor, table setting, and etc...whatever you want to showcase. :-) Another great way to WOW your guests with your own designs.

Remember to have fun with it and don't be afraid to contact your local lighting/decor company to request a quote, it may not be as costly as you think, especially if you design everything yourself! :-)  You won't ever know until you try :-) Good luck & Happy Planning! :-)
